Save KVEC Community Guidelines

Welcome to Save KVEC — a grassroots platform designed to protect transparency, accountability, and community involvement in Keokuk, Iowa. These guidelines are here to ensure that all members feel safe, respected, and empowered to participate.

Our Purpose

Our mission is to shine a light on mismanagement, foster transparency, and give the community a voice. We encourage respectful conversations, reporting of concerns, and collaboration toward a better Keokuk Volunteer Emergency Corps and a stronger city.

What’s Allowed

Posting verified or personal firsthand accounts related to KVEC or city transparency
Signing and sharing petitions to promote positive change
Submitting anonymous tips to report issues or incidents
Engaging in thoughtful discussion with respect and civility
Suggesting solutions and positive reform ideas

What’s Not Allowed

Harassment, threats, or personal attacks of any kind
False or malicious accusations
Posting confidential or legally protected information
Spam, self-promotion, or off-topic content
Hate speech, discriminatory language, or defamation

Anonymous Tips

We encourage anonymous reporting for those who fear retaliation. However, please ensure your tip is truthful and made in good faith. False reports may harm the credibility of our movement.

Privacy & Safety

Your privacy is our priority. We do not store IP addresses for anonymous submissions. All user information remains confidential and is never sold or shared.

Moderation

Moderators reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines or threatens the integrity of this platform. Repeat offenders may be banned. Community members can help by flagging content that doesn’t align with our values.
